Dreamweaver: How do I create a new CSS Style?

  1. Go to Text> CSS Styles> New.
  2. Click the radio button next to Advanced (IDs, pseudo-class selectors).
  3. Type in the new name for you CSS Style and begin it with a period. For example, call it .header.
  4. Define in: your current style sheet if you have one or save it in a new style sheet if you do not have one. A
  5. fter you have created the style you can apply it by highlighting the text and selecting the style from the drop-down menu in the Properties Panel at the bottom of the screen.
