  • First you need to highlight the text or the image that you would like to link. Then you will go down to the Properties Panel at the bottom of your screen and find the box labeled Link. If you are linking to a page within your website you can click on the small folder icon directly after the link box and navigate to the file. Or you can just type in the name of the file if you remember it.
  • If you are linking to a page outside of your website you will type in http:// and then the rest of the website address. The easiest way to do this is to open another browser window and copy and paste the website’s address. If you are linking to a page outside of your website you may want to consider opening that page in a new window. To do that look directly under the Link box and you will see a drop down menu labeled Target. By choosing _blank from this dropdown list it will allow your link to open up in a new window.
