Desktop locking after sitting idle 30 minutes….

Starting in November 2011, desktops will lock after sitting idle for 30 minutes.
Why we are having to do this:
ITS is having to do this due to requirements of the legislative auditors. It is to help protect our data and protect the use of our network at ASU.
What you can do to protect your computer:
It is a good practice to lock your computer when you step away from it. If you are going to leave your office for a coffee break or a visit with a coworker, please go ahead and hit control, alt, delete on your computer and choose the lock option. Or you can hit the windows button and L. This will lock your computer and help protect your computer and your data.
