AstateSecure Wireless....Some Changes Starting Today

Article ID: 353
Last updated: 10 Oct, 2016
ITS has been working on AstateSecure wireless.... we hope things will be a little easier for you to connect to the secure wireless network. These changes will also allow some people to connect with devices that could not connect before.
Whenever you need to connect to the wireless network, please now use AstateSecure.
Windows PCs, Macs, iPads, iPhones, and now Androids can all connect to AstateSecure. (These are devices that can use WPA2-Enterprise authentication.) For devices that cannot connect on AstateSecure (or that cannot use WPA2-Enterprise authentication), please continue using AstateAnywhere for the time being.  We are currently working on new options for these devices as well and hope to have them implemented soon.
There is no registration necessary for any device...you just need a student, faculty, or staff username.

When you go to AstateSecure and you are asked for your username and password, please input only your username (such as jdoe).  Do NOT type ASTATE\ or STUDENTS\....for now on, just your username and password.
