Is financial aid available?

Financial assistance may be available to participants in the A-State Online Services program in the form of Student loans. To begin the financial aid process you should:

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Indicate 001090 as your school code on the FAFSA.
  2. Complete the ASU admission process for the A-State Online Services program.
  3. Register for at least six hours of graduate courses through the A-State Online Services program each fall, spring and summer semesters.
  4. Monitor your Astate email account for further instructions from A-State Online Services.

Students should allow up to 4-6 weeks for the financial aid process to be completed.

Students will not be allowed to begin their course even if the financial aid process is in progress. You must pay for your course by the tuition deadline even if your financial aid has not arrived. No exceptions can be made to this policy.

Note: In accordance with federal financial aid guidelines, students in a Program of Study are considered non-degree seeking candidates rather than degree-seeking candidates and are, therefore, ineligible for financial aid. This does not apply if you are seeking a MSE (master's degree).

Students can contact the financial aid office by email or by phone at 870.972.2920.
