# About the Testing Center Learn about the Testing Center’s purpose, location, contact information, and role in supporting academic success at A-State. # Overview of the Testing Center The **Testing Center** at Arkansas State University provides secure, professional testing and scanning services to support student success and faculty needs. Located on the **third floor of the Reng Student Union**, the center serves both the campus and the surrounding community with nationally recognized standards for test administration. --- ## **What We Do** - Administer standardized exams such as **ACCUPLACER, CLEP, GRE, Praxis, TOEFL**, and more - Provide **electronic scanning services** for faculty exams - Maintain certification with **ETS, Pearson VUE, The College Board**, and other testing organizations --- ## **Commitment to Excellence** Testing services are aligned with the university’s mission. # How to Get Here The Testing Center is located on the **third floor of the Reng Student Union**, Room 3034. Enter the **North Parking Deck** garage from **Caraway Road**, then walk through the glass entry doors. The Testing Center is immediately to your left on the top level of the Reng Student Union. Caraway Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72401 --- ## **Driving Directions** **From the North / St. Louis Area** 1. Take 1-55 south toward Memphis. 2. At exit 19 (Hayti), take US-412 west to Kennett. 3. In Kennett, continue on US-412 west to enter Arkansas. In Paragould, take BUS-412 west to US-49. Turn left on US-49 to go to Jonesboro. 4. At the intersection of US-49 and Red Wolf Blvd, stay right to merge onto Johnson Avenue. Continue for 1 mile. 5. At the second traffic signal, enter campus by turning left (south) onto Caraway Rd. 6. Continue to the street barricade and turn right into the North Parking Garage. 7. Begin on 1-49 south toward 1-40. 2. Take exit 20 to merge onto 1-40 east toward Alma/Little Rock. Drive 114 miles. 3. Take exit 127 for US-64 east toward Conway/Vilonia/ Beebe. 4. At Beebe, turn left to merge onto US-167 /US-67 toward Searcy/St. Louis. Drive 74 miles. 5. Take exit 102 to Jonesboro. Go right (east) at the exit and stay straight on Hwy 226/US-49 for approximately 20 miles. 6. As you enter Jonesboro, take 1-555 south on the right, just past the Parker Rd traffic signal. 7. Take exit 42 for Caraway Rd/ Red Wolf Blvd/ Stadium Blvd and continue to exit 42A for Red Wolf/ Stadium. Turn right (north) onto Red Wolf Blvd. 8. Take US-167 /67 north toward Jacksonville. 2. Take exit 102 to Jonesboro. Go right (east) at the exit and stay straight following Hwy 226/US-49 for approximately 20 miles. 3. As you enter Jonesboro, take the 1-555 south exit to the right, just past the Parker Rd. traffic signal. 4. Take exit 42 for Caraway Rd/ Red Wolf Blvd/ Stadium Blvd and continue to exit 42A for Red Wolf/ Stadium. 5. Merge onto Red Wolf Blvd and continue straight for 3.5 miles. 6. Take 1-530 north toward Little Rock. 2. Take 1-440 east around Little Rock. 3. Take US-167/67 north toward Jacksonville. Continue to exit 102. 4. At exit 102, go right (east) on Hwy 226/US-49 for approximately 20 miles. 5. As you enter Jonesboro, take 1-555 south on the right, just past the Parker Rd signal. 6. Take exit 42 for Caraway Rd/ Red Wolf Blvd/ Stadium Blvd and continue to exit 42A for Red Wolf Blvd. 7. Merge onto Red Wolf Blvd and continue straight for 3.5 miles. 8. Take 1-40 west toward Little Rock. 2. At exit 277, veer right onto 1-55 north toward St. Louis. 3. At exit 23, take 1-555 north to Jonesboro. 4. Take the Red Wolf Blvd exit, turn right (north) on US-49. 5. Head north on Red Wolf Blvd. 2. Turn left (west) at the traffic signal at Red Wolf Blvd and Johnson Ave. Continue for 1 mile. 3. At the second traffic signal, enter campus by turning left (south) onto Caraway Rd. 4. Continue to the street barricade and turn right into the North Parking Garage. 5. Refer to the **Visitor Parking** section below. --- ## **Visitor Parking** Visitors should park in **hourly paid parking spaces** marked with **green signage** in the North Parking Garage. - Payments are made at **digital pay stations** located at the **south exit** on the 1st and 2nd levels. - The pay stations are marked with green signage and the international “P” symbol that indicates a pay machine. - **Only card payment options are accepted.** No coins or bills may be used at the pay stations. - [**Pay-by-phone**](https://www.astate.edu/about/campus-offices/parking/visitor-parking.html#parkmobile) options are also available as indicated on signage.

**Parking is enforced Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.** **Tow-away zones are strictly enforced.**
