# How do I adjust the point value for an entire quiz using fudge points in SpeedGrader?

Fudge points allow you to manually add or remove points from a student's overall quiz score. This feature is only available in SpeedGrader.

**Notes**:

- Grade changes to Classic Quiz submissions made via Gradebook import may display as fudge points in SpeedGrader.
- [Graded survey](https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-create-a-survey-in-my-course/ta-p/782) quizzes do not support the use of fudge points.

## Select Student

## Assign Fudge Points

You can also enter negative points.

### View Fudge Points

## Update Quiz Score
