# How do I view plagiarism assignments in SpeedGrader?

If your institution has enabled a third-party plagiarism detection tool, you may be able to view plagiarism and originality details in SpeedGrader. [DocViewer supported file types](https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Publisher-Test-Nathan/What-types-of-files-can-I-preview-in-Canvas/ta-p/644858) can be viewed and [annotated in SpeedGrader](https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-add-annotated-comments-in-student-submissions-using/ta-p/694).

**Note:** Canvas does not provide its own plagiarism detection tool. For information or support with using your plagiarism detection tool, contact your institution or the provider of the tool.

## Open SpeedGrader

## Select Submission

## View Submission

If the submission is a supported DocViewer preview type, you can use the DocViewer annotation tools \[2\] to add comments to the student's submission.

## View Similarity Score

## Grade Submission

If you added a rubric to the assignment, you can [view the rubric](https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-a-rubric-to-grade-submissions-in-SpeedGrader/ta-p/1015) by clicking the **View Rubric** button \[2\].
