How to Upload and Share Video in Kaltura

How to Upload Video to Kaltura in Canvas

1. Navigate to My Media in Canvas.

2. Click Add New.

3. Click Media Upload.

4. Click Choose a file to upload.

5. Navigate to the media file needing to be uploaded and click Open.

Your media file should now be uploaded to your Kaltura My Media.

How to Upload Video to Kaltura Homepage

 

1. Navigate to Kaltura homepage.

2. Click Add New and select Media Upload.

4. Navigate to the media file that needs to be uploaded and click Open.

Your media file should now be uploaded to your Kaltura My Media.

How to Share Video in Kaltura

1. Navigate to My Media.

2. To the right of each video are three icons. From left to right, these icons allow users to View Analytics, Edit, and Delete. Click the pencil icon to Edit.

3. Under Details, give your video a meaningful title that will help you distinguish it from other videos. It is recommended that you include the course and assignment name in the title. Click Save.

4. Navigate back to My Media.

5. Under your video, you will see Details and Share. Click Share. Copy the link provided under Link to Media Page tab. This will allow you to share your video by sharing the link.
