Limited radiographers require education in patient care, radiation safety, anatomy, radiography positioning, and image acquisition. These individuals are limited by state regulations on the procedures they can perform. In Arkansas, limited radiographers can not perform hip, pelvis, abdomen, ribs, sternum, fluoroscopy or contrast procedures. A-State's LMIS program prepares students for the ARRT Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography certification exam.

Imaging Assistants in MRI are educated in patient care, MRI safety, and MRI positioning. A-State's LMIS program prepares students for the ARRT Imaging Assistant in MRI certification exam.
