Adding a New Device
Follow these instructions to add another device to your Duo account with A-State. This applies to people who have recently changed phones and have a different phone number than the one you used to first set up your Duo account with A-State.
2. Click on Duo Recovery.
3. Enter your full A-State email address and password and click Login.
4. Answer your Security Questions (note: your questions might be different than shown) and click Send Bypass Code.
5. Click To Duo Management and check your secondary email for a bypass code.
6. Select Enter a Passcode and enter the passcode that was sent to your secondary email. Once entered, click Login.
6. Select Add Another Device.
7. Select the option for the device you are trying to add (the images below are for adding a Mobile phone. If you are adding a Tablet or Security Key, some of these pictures won't be applicable) and click Continue.
8. Enter the phone number for the device you're trying to add to your Duo account with A-State. Once entered, you will need to check mark the box below and click Continue.
9. You will be asked to verify ownership of the device you're trying to add to your Duo account with A-State. Click Text me and enter the 6-digit code you receive. If verified, click Continue.
10. Select the phone type for the device you're trying to add to your Duo account with A-State and click Continue.
11. Once you've completed steps 1-9, you will need to download the Duo Mobile app on the device you're trying to add to your Duo account with A-State. The icon for the app looks like the image below.
12. Once the Duo Mobile app has been downloaded and is installed on the device, click I have Duo Mobile installed.
13. Open up the Duo Mobile app on the device, click on the + sign on the top right of the screen and open up the camera. Scan the QR code (the QR code that shows up on your screen will look normal, this is a test image so it looks different).
14. Once the QR code is scanned, you should see a green checkmark appear on the screen and be able to click Continue.
15. Go to pack.AState.edu, sign in using your full A-State email address and you should receive a Duo Push notification to the device you have just successfully added.
