# Parking and Traffic Citation Appeals

Information for appealing a parking or traffic citation issued by Parking Services or University Police.

# HOW TO APPEAL A PARKING OR TRAFFIC CITATION

<span style="color: #222222; font-size: 2.8275em; font-weight: 400;">How Do I Appeal My Citation?</span>

<section id="bkmrk-all-appeals-will-be-"><article>- All appeals will be adjudicated according to the rules and regulations stated in the **[Parking and Motor Vehicle Regulations](https://kb.astate.edu/books/parking-regulations "Parking and Motor Vehicle Regulations")**.
- All appeals must be filed within 7 days of citation issuance date.
- The fee for denied appeals is $5.00 per citation appealed.
- Most citations are supported by photo or video evidence.

Student and employee citation appeals are processed through the Parking eBiz portal available through the **[Pack Portal](https://pack.astate.edu/)**. ## Non-Students and Non-Employees

Non-student/non-employee citation appeals are processed by email. Send an email to Parking Services at **<parking@astate.edu>**. Include your name, citation number, and the license plate number of the vehicle that was ticketed. You will receive a reply with information on the next steps in the appeal process.
