Connecting to AstateSecure

AStateSecure is the Wi-Fi network you will need to use while on campus. You log in with your A-State email address and password.

1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device. The icon should look like the image below.

2. ClickTap on Wi-Fi on the left hand side of the Settings page.screen.

3. ClickTap on AstateSecure.

4. This should bring up a page where you can type inEnter your A-State email address and password.password Afterand you've typed in this information, clicktap Join.

5. A new pagescreen will comepop up like the image belowbelow. that asks you to Trust this network. You will want to clickTap Trust. OnceYour you do this, youdevice should now be successfully signed into the AstateSecure network.

Forgetting a Wi-Fi Network

Forgetting the network is a good way to troubleshoot any Wi-Fi issues you may be experiencing. Go through these steps to see if you can self self-solve your issues!issues.

1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhoneiOS ordevice. iPad.The icon looks like the image below.

2. Once you've opened the app, clickTap on the Wi-Fi section on the left hand side of the Settings page.screen.

3. After this, nextNext to thewhere AstateSecureyou button,see AstateSecure, you should see an information symbol that you will need to click on..

4. Tap on the information symbol.

4.5. OnceTap you do this, you should see an option to on Forget This Network. Click on thisthe andright thenside clickof the screen.

Once you complete Steps 1-4,6, you will be successfully disconnected from the AstateSecure network.

In order to reconnect to the AstateSecure network, you will need to go through Steps 1-5 of the Connecting to AstateSecure instructions above.

These steps can also be used to Forget the Home@AstateHome@AState network if necessary. You would instead clicktap on Home@AstateHome@AState and then clicktap Forget.
