Auditions for A-State Theatre Productions: Information and Forms
Welcome to Auditioning at Arkansas State University Theatre
Thank you for considering auditioning for an Arkansas State University Theatre production. We are genuinely excited to see your talent, your curiosity, and your passion for performance and storytelling. Our stages are places of growth, collaboration, and creative rigor, and we welcome students from across campus into that work.
Whether you are an experienced performer or stepping into the audition room for the first time, our faculty and creative teams are here to support you through the process.
Who Can Audition
You do not need to be a theatre major to audition for any Arkansas State University Theatre production.
Students from all majors are encouraged to audition and participate. If you are cast in a production or selected to work on a production team, you may also receive academic course credit for your involvement. As an added benefit, you are not only gaining performance or production experience but also earning credit toward your degree. Our theatre faculty will guide you through the course enrollment process if you are cast or assigned to a production role.
Our Production Season
Arkansas State University Theatre produces four productions each academic year. Our seasons may include:
