The Thanksgiving Play

By Larissa Fasthorse

Directed by Dallas Martinez

In this biting satire by award-winning playwright Larissa FastHorse, a group of well-intentioned educators attempt to devise a "politically correct" Thanksgiving pageant that excludes any Native representation. The Thanksgiving Play skewers cultural missteps, performative allyship, and the awkward chaos of trying to "do the right thing." FastHorse's clever, razor-sharp comedy is as thought-provoking as it is laugh-out-loud funny.

Content Warnings: Satirical language addressing race, cultural appropriation, and Identity Politics, Scenes depicting attempts at "political correctness" gone awry—may be uncomfortable or challenging, Some profanity
Suggested Rating: PG13/Teen+
