Memorandum of Understanding
Arkansas State University – Jonesboro & Don Bosco School of Management

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines the intentions of Arkansas State University – Jonesboro and Don Bosco School of Management (managed by Maanyatha Education Trust) to engage in discussions regarding the establishment of a long-term cooperative endeavor intended to create mutually advantageous relationships.

Implementation of this MOU is contingent upon satisfaction of appropriate faculty governance requirements, approval by executive officers of both institutions, and—where required—approval by the respective Boards of Trustees.

Suggestions for changes in the substance or scope of this MOU must be submitted in writing by the proposing signatory at least six (6) months prior to the end of the academic year in progress.

Legal and Financial Obligations

• This MOU allows the parties to engage in discussions regarding a long-term cooperative endeavor. Any resulting agreement must be formalized in writing and signed by authorized representatives.
• This MOU creates no legal or financial obligations beyond those explicitly listed. It is intended solely to facilitate the development of mutually beneficial collaborative initiatives.
• No agency relationship is created between the parties by this MOU.
• Each party is responsible for its own costs associated with the implementation of this MOU.
• Each party is responsible for compliance with all applicable international and domestic laws, including import and export control laws.
• This MOU becomes effective on the date last signed and remains valid for five (5) years. The English version controls in the event of translation.

This MOU becomes effective upon ratification by authorized individuals at both institutions and after any required internal or governmental approvals. Either institution may terminate this MOU at any time.
