Grievance Procedures
The Title IX Grievance Procedures establish a fair, prompt, and impartial process for resolving reports of sex-based discrimination, sexual harassment, and related conduct in accordance with Title IX. These procedures are designed to ensure that all parties receive equitable treatment, due process, and a meaningful opportunity to be heard.
At Arkansas State University, the grievance process is administered by the Office of Institutional Integrity & Title IX and includes clearly defined steps for investigation, evidence review, and resolution. The process is grounded in principles of fairness, transparency, and neutrality, with trained staff overseeing each stage to ensure compliance with federal regulations and university policy.
These procedures apply to students, faculty, staff, and third parties participating in university programs or activities, and are intended to uphold a safe and respectful learning and working environment for all.
