How to Use Global Protect VPN

Using Global Protect 

1. Open Global Protect by clicking on the globe icon at the top right of your screen for Mac. Type in Global Protect in your search bar on the bottom left of your screen (or find the application in the Start menu) and click on the application for Windows. The icon for the application will match the second image below.

2. Enter the portal address globalprotect.astate.edu

3. Sign in using your A-State email and password and approve Duo. 

4. Open Global Protect and make sure that it says Connected. 

5. To stop using Global Protect, click the Disconnect button.
