Students receiving Department of Theatre scholarships are expected to:

- Maintain an academic mentor from the Theatre faculty
- Maintain a 3.0 (or higher) grade point average in Theatre department courses
- Be involved in at least three Department of Theatre productions each year through the practicum program.
- Acting and musical theatre emphasis students must audition for all productions.
- Participate in each end-of-semester evaluation.
- Attend any guest workshops provided by the department.
