About Licensure
First-Time Arkansas Teaching License
This applies to graduates of the following BSE and MAT Education programs: Elementary, Middle-Level, Business, Art, Music, Agriculture, English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Social Studies, World Languages, and Special Education.
After graduating and completing all other requirements, you may apply for first-time licensure.

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Provisional License
Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching program may qualify for a provisional license provided that certain requirements are met.

Administrator Licensure
This applies to graduates of Educational Leadership programs, including Building-Level Administrator (Principal), Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education Director, Gifted & Talented Director, and District-Level Administrator (Superintendent).
