Overview of Kaltura at A-State
Kaltura is Arkansas State University’s enterprise video platform for creating, storing, sharing, and analyzing instructional media. It supports faculty and students across multiple learning environments, including Canvas, MediaSpace, and classroom recordings.

Kaltura is a cloud-based video management system that allows:
- Secure hosting of instructional videos
- Easy embedding in Canvas courses
- Auto-captioning and accessibility features

It is integrated with Canvas and available to all A-State faculty, staff, and students.

Canvas Integration:

- Use Media Gallery in individual courses

All uploaded or recorded videos appear in your My Media library.

Notes:
- Faculty who continue using Zoom after the campus license ends will need to manually upload their cloud recordings to Kaltura via MediaSpace or My Media in Canvas.
