VoiceThread
VoiceThread is a third party tool available to be used within your Canvas classes. It allows you to replace text-only disucssions with interactive ones that support Universal Design for Learning principles. With VoiceThread, you and your students can upload, share and discuss documents, presentations, images, audio files and videos. Over 50 different types of media can be used in a VoiceThread. You can then comment on those materials using one of five powerful commenting options: microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file upload. With VoiceThread Mobile, all of this content is even available on your iOS or Android mobile device. Allowing you to use the camera and microphone on your mobile device to upload and comment on the ongoing discussions.
